FPGA firmware firmware update for the PS Audio Directstream Dac being released today US time.
I'll download it, copy onto an SD card and power the Dac up with it fitted in the back.
Presto: Instant better sounding Dac.
It'll be my 4th FPGA software update (Redcloud, Snowmass, Windom) and now the new one.
Be the final software update for the Directstream, which is a shame, but the PS Audio engineers are saying its a helluva update, and each time I've upgraded its like getting a new better Dac.

Few years left in the Beast yet, shame no more free upgrades though, but not bad for a Dac released in 2015. :thumbsup:
