View Full Version : Hand cleanser
As some of you may know , the hand cleanser market has seen unprecedented demand in the last few days , as people stock up !!
All us older audiophiles with vinyl ,will be chuffed to know, that all that Isoprop in the cupboard for cleaning your records , will have you out in the the lead with any diy hand cleanser you could make !!!!
Mind you ,you need an gel or oil to carry it with and aloe vera gel seems to be getting a tad short :)
As a farmer with a gallon of vet lube in stock I might have a cunning plan !!
Stay safe peeps :)

I saw someone buy a right boat load of the stuff today, Some shops are restricting sales..
What gets my goat is people should not need a scare to be clean with hands, it should come naturally.

Just used soap and water with vigorous washing. It's been proven that anti-bac hand washes are no more than a gimmick.
The virus has a grease membrane. All you need is something to remove the membrane.
Soap and water will be fine. :)
Aye ,I suppose you are right 68 !!
Mind you ,my daughter works in care and I think they tend to have a little bottle of the stuff for a quick wipe here and there !
In the last 2 -3 years ,I hate going out of public toilets or pub ones , by grabbing a handle (I usually pull my sleeve out and grab it or get a bit of bog paper lol)

You mean panic buying. Some on-line vendors of antiseptic hand gel are profiteering from the current crisis: £40 for 250ml!

I feel better using soap & water than an Alch based hand gel thats for sure. However its not means to clean your hands but help stop transfer germs

At work yesterday doing what you do in a cubicle, chap next door did his, zipped up and walked straight out, no need to even approach the sink for him:eek:
Maybe he washed his in cock gel

Well if that part of his anatomy didn't touch any communal surface, then he could be excused, though it's normal practice to at least run the hand you use under the tap for a few moments.

Oh - that is inexcusable. I though he was simply using an urinal.

Ive been intrigued with that Durex 'Intense Orgasmic Gel'
One well known chemical supplier has just sent me an email advertising their new Corona virus cleaner at £50 for a 5ltr bottle
Trouble is it looks to be bog standard 70% rubbing alcohol which they sell for under £10 for 5ltrs, the only difference is the flash label on the bottle.
They are all getting in on the big #CoronaVirusRippoff
should be jailed. profiteering in a national emergency;)

alcohol might well thin it down to liquid. difficult thickening alcohol at a strong abv
To be honest Grant , I was only joking really !! Being an avid reader of post apocalypse novels , the sudden thought of previously random materials dissappearing overnight ,is a bit scary :)

I like the last comment: "rusty bullet hole", an interesting euphemism.
I’m sure Marco can do better! I’ve heard “rusty sheriff’s badge” and “chocolate starfish” but that was a new one on me!

Tee-hee... Moi? Okes, howz about: eating sushi from the barber's floor, or medicating the hairy-paper cut?

Good effort, but are those front bottom references, we want to ride the chocolate speedway! :eyebrows:
You mean cruising the chocolate-chuff canal? Or surfing up the slippy-slot?
Marco.
Exactly - taking it up the balloon knot or a bit of uphill gardening is just the ticket! :D
Ha ha , We dairy farmers know all about Uddermint , or Japanease peppermint oil in a lotion , as it is rubbed on cows udders to help reduce inflammation !!
So ,many a farmer in the beginning ,went for a leak and discovered that wasnt a good idea ,if you still had the stuff on your fingers !!
Uddermint or Mint lotion in your local farmers shop is about 100 times cheaper than that fancy mint rub they sell in health shops for muscle rubs ,arthritis !
Just be careful with it folks :eyebrows:

I first came across the phrase "rubber knot" to refer to the anus in the writings of Leonard Cohen.
