Well, I just tried it and got some rather unexpected results! 56% Left Brain and 44% Right Brain:eek:

Try this one. It's quite a good one, and analyses the input differently: https://www.arealme.com/left-right-brain/en/

I'm convinced that there's a valid correlation between left/right brain thinking, and how we, as audio enthusiasts 'manage' our hobby! Or for that matter, how the electronics engineers/builders amongst us go about their designs, and which reflects on how they perform...

Marco.

Interesting - I came out 80% left brain on that one!

I'm completely cack-handed when it comes to DIY stuff; I certainly had the intelligence and the need, but found it incredibly stressful; indeed, the only times I've really lost my temper was when DIY-ing. The family just left me to get on with it as they knew I'd be effing and blinding whilst doing it. Now I just pay someone.

Ditto. Although, I've recently gotten a little better. However, I still fully acknowledge my limitations in that area and, when necessary, will defer to employing the skills of an expert, rather than making a complete arse of something!

A good man always knows his limitations...

Could you have a go at the left/right brain test? I'd be curious of what your results are :)

Fifty-Fifty

Is that good or bad?

Marco
21-03-2018, 20:51
In my book, good! If you're able to apply both sides of your brain equally, then you're generally a more 'rounded' thinker, and probably better equipped at problem solving :)

So it explains why despite not being especially good at anything I've always managed to provide myself with food and shelter? Makes sense but I'd rather have been one of those blokes where it's all over to one side or t'other. Either an engineering or an artistic genius. Artistic genius, preferably. Get more girls that way.

Marco

Lol - worry not, some girls love geeks! :D

I've always found it quite handy being both. :D

No, you're more autistic, than artistic! :D

84/16. No idea what this means, maybe I need a bit more right brain to work it out.

Marco

Wow - now that is a bizarre one! Maybe you should've taken the 'Find out where your brain is' test instead?:D

In my defence, I was doing ok, but the colours/words bit did me. I think I got all of them wrong.

On the plus side, I usually win "Pop Master" on Radio 2.

Interesting... I'm almost certain I got all of those right. You just have to concentrate very carefully!

I'm usually not bad at Pop Master, but mostly on music from between 1960-1990, as anything produced commercially after that period is generally outside my level of interest, and anything before that I'd probably be too young to know or remember. 80s stuff is my specialty:eyebrows:

I've scored the full 39 points on three occasions. Sadly, for all of them, I was in the car on my own and no-one believes me!

As time goes on, and more recent music is featured, I'll probably get worse at Pop Master.

Fella that was on this morning got 39 points, and got the 3 in 10. It was Little Mix, for godsakes! I had no chance.
