Jolly Hog Smoked Black Treacle bacon, Gigantes beans (Sainsbury's near the spice section - very good indeed), M&S black pudding, Waitrose rosti.
For some reason the black pudding M&S are currently selling is amazingly good I think.
That went down so fast:)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181215/b8d5cf001be6c11dfe780d830f289206.jpg
Not so jolly now is he. Ner
Looks great, Justers, although I'm not into black pudding:)

What do you think about white pudding? Popular north of the border, at least with my friends up there. Anita always buys some from a butchers in Ayr whenever we visit, to bring back.

We were supposed to be up there this weekend, but weather forecast put us off so going after new year now. :(
Not so jolly now is he. NerNo not at all:D
Nevermind that. I just threw 10 triple 20s including a 180 over the course of one cigarette.
The oil in the fry up obviously lubbed the joints:)

Marco. My wife said that for years. Then she tried some. Now she can't get enough.
That one has a really light, fluffy texture. Nice and spicy. It isn't like your average black pudding.
I'm not trying to make you like it, though, Marco. Just sayin'.

Tee-hee... I'm sure, for black pudding, it's a very fine example. It's just that I don't 'do' ANY form of offal - period! Just not my thang, dude:cool:
Marco.

I don't like black pudding either: blood and sawdust (sorry breadcrumbs and oats) - you may as well eat earth.
As for offal, well I do like lamb's liver, and I like kidney but only in a steak and kidney pie!
Ditto! All that shit's vomit-inducing:spew:
I can take a small amount of haggis, but only as a stuffing inside some other form of meat that I like, such as in a classic chicken Balmoral, which is one of my favourite dishes:

Marco.
After a kill Lions eat liver, heart and kidneys first, most nutritious parts apparently. I must say I do like liver and kidneys but don't like the thought of some of the other bits such as intestines and tripe (whatever it is), no doubt tasty sausages are full of those though!
Not in good ones (highest meat content) there isn't!;)

Many people aren't fussy about what they eat.
In fact, I'm surprised human flesh is not more popular. It's plentiful and I'm sure, perfectly nourishing. Modern slaughter and butchery techniques could no doubt be adapted and implemented easily and the brutal death no more distressing than an animal finds it, so that should be acceptable.
Suitable livestock is everywhere. Participants in and of course audiences of The Jeremy Kyle Show are little better than cattle, so should be ideal. The courts and prisons could be a good source of low-life repeat offenders who's only worthwhile contribution to society could be in the form of a pie and some steaks.
A win, win situation if you ask me .

Don’t mind a bit of kidney, liver or sweetbreads but I’ve had enough of heart, tripe and brawn thank you (used to get them as a child when we’d go round to my nan’s). I’m not knocking them though, the only food I ever found inedible was Ducks Feet in a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant in San Francisco [emoji23]
Good pork sausages will generally have a mix of shoulder and belly pork (2:1). I used to make my own but haven’t done it in an age.
If you’ve got a KitchenAid, get the mincing attachment and sausage funnel and you are a home-made sausage factory [emoji4]
Just buy the pork from your local butcher and ask him for some sausage skin while you’re at it.

Or Pie Minister
I love good black pudding, proper stuff from a butcher, not the supermarket. Love liver and kidneys too, especially lamb's liver. I had beef cheeks at a Covent Garden Tapas a few weeks ago, my goodness how tasty was that.

I sincerely hope no-one has the bad manners to mention beef curtains at this juncture!
Not tried ox cheek. Needs long slow cook I believe.
Not into liver at all. Kidney I don't mind a little in a steak pie for flavour but should be cut very small. I used to make a nice s and k suet pudding years ago.
Grilled Craster kipper and Columbian Blacktail poached.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/21331de27b97f49ecf7a0de3ed85904b.jpg
Oooo, look at that. After a full English, my next favourite breakfast has to be kippers. I just adore grilled kippers, had one last week in fact.
I don't do breakfast that often these days though, mores the pity.
I find the Craster ones vary a bit. Sometimes excellent, that one was a bit below average for them. Better than the shrinked plastic wrapped cheap dross with a knob of butter using colouring etc, and not that much more expensive when it really boils down to it.
Tapatalk posted it in the wrong orientation, though. Most of the time it gets it right. Not sure what is going on there.

I'm not quite sure what they are, but they're not kippers in my book - nasty stuff ;)
Kippers have to be fresh, and bought from a good fishmonger, or it's a no-no!
Timbo, why don't you do breakfast? At the very least, you're missing out on another great 'coffee opportunity', old chap;)
Marco.

Maybe I should have rephrased that to, mostly I only have coffee for breakfast, very rare a day goes by when I don't start the day without coffee ;)
Breakfast is a treat, weekends mostly but often I just skip it - can't skip my coffee fix though and only drink it during the early part of the day, or it can keep me awake.
I sincerely hope no-one has the bad manners to mention beef curtains at this juncture!
No-one did, until you raised it!
