RCM workflow

When cleaning LPs using RCM, I'm wondering how long should I leave the record cleaning fluid sitting on the surface of an LP? Various forum searches left me scratching my head, as some people quoted different soaking times (from a few seconds to up to 30 minutes!) Is there some kind of a consensus among the experts as to what would be the minimal soaking time before we start scrubbing the grooves with the brush?

Also, once the grooves have been soaked in the fluid and then scrubbed, should the fluid be immediately vacuumed off, or should there be a post-scrubbing soaking period?

Do you rinse with distilled water and then vacuum after you vacuum the fluid?

nope, its not needed. its all taken off by the vaccuum. i anti static gun is always a good idea to beore you pop it back in sleeve.

Your approach definitely boosts record washing productivity by a significant margin ;) Think about people who religiously leave each side to soak for 30 minutes, and then also spend time after vacuuming on rinsing, vacuuming, rinsing again etc.
