Hi All,

I'm Jack from Hong Kong. I have been an audiophile for 20+ years but my focus is always on the music. My current system is:

Source: Lampizator Level 7 DAC
Preamp: Bent Audio AVC-1 with Silver Autoformer
Amp: Tatic Audio 10Y Monoblocks
Speakers: Beauhorn Virtuoso Reference with Lowther DX4
Supertweeter: Fostex T500a Mk.II w/ Duelund 1.5uF 1st order XOR
Subwoofer: Funk Audio 18.0 Passive driven by miniDSP+Lab Gruppen Clone 14K
Cables: Anticables, Synergistic Research, Elrod

Music: Everything but Jazz and heavy metal

The setup is also used for 7.2 Hometheater, using a Yamaha 3010 AV receiver, with preout to AVC-1's HT-bypass input. Thus main speakers are driven by the 10Y amps while the rest of the channels are driven by the Yamaha. Projector is Optomo HT-806 with a 100 ft OS Electric Screen.

Listening room is about 11 ft x 22 ft. Minimal treatment, only diffusor at first reflection point. Tried bass traps and such and do not like them (sounds lifeless).

That's it for now. Welcome any questions and comments.

Jack

Hello Jack,
Welcome to the AoS from me, smashing kit you have there, I have similar music tastes to you, nothing boringly repetitive and no head banging stuff.
hope you find lots of interesting subjects in this friendly forum.

enjoy your music :)

Hello Jack. Welcome from me too.

Interesting selection of equipment you have. Definitely worthy of some photos in our Gallery section.

Are you planning any changes? If so we'd like to hear about them. Do you not play vinyl at all?

Enjoy AOS,
Geoff.

Welcome to AoS Jack.

You have an interesting collection of kit there, some of it is little known here in the UK. We would love to see some photographs.

Enjoy the Forum

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!

I'll take some photos and post them later.

Beauhorn is from UK. I have it over 10 years already and still have no urge to change. Maybe I'm just lazy.

I used to play vinyl during high-school and I still keep about 200 LPs, mostly classical. I want to play them again but right now couldn't find the space to accommodate a LP setup. I already have too much stuff so much so that the tube amp and the Lab Gruppen Clone have overflowed to the floor besides the rack.

My current priority is to optimize the PC-based digital front-end. Hopefully that can be completed within this year.

Jack
