Kent - Dĺ Som Nu För Alltid (Tidal FLAC 16/44.1, 2016)
Kent's last album, one of Swedens greatestpop/rock/indie bands ever. Though almost always performed in Swedish...
The title translates into something cryptical like "Then As Now Forever"...
If you decide to give it a shout listen a few minutes into the first song, Andromeda, loud, really loud! :)

Well, since you are using Tapatalk, its very easy!
Just find a suitable image on the interweb using Safari, long press on it and then Save.
When in Tapatalk, select the little "mountain icon" in the full response dialogue and select the image you just downloaded.

Thanks AlfaGTV, I'm new to Taptalk and am having a devil of a time navigating it. Nothing comes with instructions anymore. I also noticed the similarity of our call letters? What a coincidence! I use AlphaGT because actually Alpha is my mother's name, and I have a little guitar repair and hot rod company, that I named Alpha Guitars.

I find duplicates all the time. I think I have around 20,000 LPs now. They are in no sort of order whatsoever. I probably have at least twice that in 45s. I got through about 100 a few weeks ago, and gave up. I should have started about 20 years ago.

Hotel Room was a great single. I bought it in the day and still have it now. I guess it must have been played on Radio Caroline / whatever name it had at the time, we lived approx. 20 miles from where that ship was moored and I never listened to anything else.

It actually wasn't on the "meat" album which again I've had since when but it is a bonus track on the CD.

indeed, you would really need a big room for storage with a concrete floor. Ive reduced tremendously but still have too many now for my needs. Thinking about getting a storage bay for some records so I can have them out instead of the boxes.

Cleaning them is a pain in the ass. I can run 12 at once now. That makes it easier. I have four walls stacked floor to ceiling at home, and more in conditioned storage. I got most of them from buying people's whole collections. I rotate a couple of crates in and out every week. I just bought another 7,000 45s off of eBay.

Surprisingly upbeat (despite one track being written for his funeral) and humorous and a little unusual, but still up to his usual high standard.

Kaytranada - 99.9%

Whitney - Light upon the lake

And also Miles Davis' tribute to Jack Johnson album which I've never really listened to before despite enjoying a lot of other MD stuff from this kind of period.

I have loads of so called 'world music', apart from different rhythms / singing styles, and instruments from the 'norm', its the fact that i don't understand what they are singing about that appeals. The vocals become more of an instrument.

An outstanding record. Pixies best one I reckon. It's a small funny thing but I was always impressed with how the song Tame stops right on a sixpence and heads into Wave of Mutilation. Great stuff.

I always find his albums in the dollar bin too. It's a shame more people don't give him a shot.

He came to KC a few years ago and played one of the smaller venues. He's still going. It was a good show. He's better now from what I've heard from people who saw him in his prime. I've heard a lot of stories from people about him being too wasted to perform when they saw him.

He looked like Bryan Cranston on that cover too.

The beautiful and talented Julie Fowlis

Something about these songs sung in an ancient tongue gets me right in the gut.

I rewired the cans over the weekend. No more suffering with iPhone buds at work.

Bloody love the Sabres. Andy W a DJ I've seen so many times, you always get a different set with him. Legendary Bloated club nights in Newcastle, great.

Also playing some Two Lone Swordsmen earlier on too...

Now this...

Masterpiece double vinyl, excellent too.

Always torn between Sabresonic and Haunted Dancehall being my favourite album of theirs. Both great records. Sabresonic and Blood Sugar nights in London were great too. Weatherall plays what he fancies and all the better for it! Did you ever hear his Sci-Fi Lo-Fi compilation? Well worth tracking down. 'Feathers' is on it too.

Yes, I have that. Also a fair bit of stuff on his Emissions label from the 90s including the blood/sugar double 12" EP thing. Now to find it.

Did have quite a few of the pink tartan releases on Sabrettes label but my brother in law, still a massive techno fan and DJ has them.

Robert Goulet - Live To Love on a beat up old Ampex.

It was on the machine when I bought it today. I didn't want to ruin a good reel.

I bought it to see if it had any cool valves in it, but everything works and it sounds good.

Nice. That album has some sort of black magic in it. It always makes me feel like I am there. Excellent recording.

How does the Sundazed reish sound compared to the original UK Island Issue Roy?

We saw Corky Laing this last weekend gone. He can still beat those drums... :D

I've not heard the original Island issue Steve but this CD came as part of an 'original album classics' box set so may not even be the Sundazed version
