Just about to post to say that I'm sure the SQ of Napster is audibly lower than Spotify, then I did a back to back comparison of a Pink Floyd track, Breathe, and now I don't believe I can hear one!
Ok, so the track may not be that good in the first place, but I've come to a couple of conclusions, one, that Napster, despite being a lower bit rate is as good as Spotty, or I'm a bit Mutt and Jeff! :)
Anyone here using Napster, and what are your thoughts?
Are you using Spotify Premium?

Are you using Spotify Premium?

I've just been playing around with Napster, and it doesn't appear on my server.
I can get to it via www.mysqueezebox.com , and as is well documented on this forum, I don't go there because it's unreliable.
I'll start the server on the other machine and see if it's just a NSA310 thing, or whether it applies to Windows based servers too.
In what way is MSB unreliable? I have no problems with it and my SBT is fed by MSB 99% of the times.

The number of crash reports that appeared on the Squeezebox forum make me nervous about it.

Onto the Napster experiment ...
I can access Napster from the Windows server interface, even though it is named as Rhapsody.
I have it playing now.
I have even compared Napster streaming to Spotify, and all I have to say Craig is that the brief comparison I did points to Spotify having superior sound quality.
I used the latest Daft Punk album for comparison purposes.
Neither sound a good as a rip of the original.

Maybe it was because I was using a track originally 40 years old?
The thing is, even if Napster is inferior, I have not encountered the problems that plagued me with Spotify!
