I went to the huge boot sale in Denham this morning. Not one bit of interesting audio, let alone Hi-Fi!
(got three nice BNC plugs for a nicker and some good enamel and other bits cheap though)

I had a good haul yesterday, got a pair of Tannoy Sixes 605 in orignal box for £20, and a pair of Alesis Monitor One MKII speakers for £10
decided to put the alesis in my office with the control ones, the don't sound to bad!
plus got a few other non audio bits.

The gent was asking £5 for it , I asked if it worked and was told it had come from a Cash Generator shop and they check all items prior to buying anything
Its a bit beat up lots of glue from stickers on it and only has one foot out of 4 , so I asked if he had the missing 3 feet ?
No was the reply , but you can have it for £3 :eek:
How could I refuse
Next was these 6 MD discs , I asked How much ? and was told 20p each , I offered £1 for all 6 and the deal was done

A mate of mine went to a local auction a couple of days ago and got Sony amp, tuner and CD player (he can't remember what models they are) and a pair of Acoustic Energy Aegis 1 speakers for £5! He says it sounds great... but then again he wears 2 hearing aids!!!
Also picked up another 21 lp's various artist all between 50p and £1 each
Will upload photos if anyone is interested ?

Yes Paul , very happy with the music collection , lots of variety and cheap as chips ;)
All you need to do now if find a PISHANTO RCM to clean all those, no doubt 'pristine condition' (not), records you've got, unless the boot sales you frequent are miraculously different from all those I've been to! :eyebrows: ;)
