Beryllium interconnects

Can't see the point of using beryllium copper for hifi cables. I would think it would be beryllium copper as beryllium on its own would be quite a health hazard.

You'd be better off just using copper imho. And avoiding cables that claim to be directional.

I used to work with xray tubes that contained beryllium. All sorts of safety regs about it. I don't think it is possible in a lot of countries to even produce beryllium copper due to h&s.

I wonder what "bronze" means.

Brass is copper and zinc.
Bronze is copper and tin.

From personal experience with Chinese alloys my guess is mostly tin with just a little copper for color then a flash plate of Rhodium on the outside.
A little scrapping with a needle file will speak volumes.
