Mains cables Length issue

hi, I'd like to make my power cables to between 0.5 to 0.75 metres long, are there any issues why I shouldn't, it's a get rid of the tangle of wires in the back of the hifi that I'm after:rolleyes:

It can only be a good thing, in terms of tidiness and sound quality.

Only thing to consider is if you might have to move, will you still have the same arrangements for the stereo?

You should have no issues. Properly dressed cables enhance performance IMHO.

Thanks all, that's what I was hoping, gone are the days of wrestling with monster stiff unwieldy cables round the back of the rack!:rolleyes:
