Why on earth do you listen to cassettes ?
This was the question asked in one of my recent Cassette quality topics
Well for me this is the reason :)

I just watched my masterpiece and spotted the mistake
Its not a CD it's a Cassette player
Its my :wheniwasaboy: Age
Yes I am a pleb , if the chef :whippin: can use the word so can I :ner:
Also just like to mention Chelsea like to keep mum happy
The cassette player had a tape in it
The title " 80 songs my mother loves " :)
We still listen to tapes because they are there to be listened to.
I still use 2 Nakamichis'

Maybe someone should start a "Show Me Your Cassette Decks" thread? ;) We haven't done that yet, right?

I still listen to cassettes because:
- I have some cassette-only releases :smoking:
- I have compilations I made, or that where made for me, before the advent of CD :wheniwasaboy:
- my missus' Skoda only has a cassette player :steam:
I wish I had a decent cassette deck to transfer some old recordings...
£10 for the Technics! Think I need to come out to Essex car boots from now.

Picked this up at the last boot sale ;)
I listen to cassette cos it's what you're supposed to listen to in the car - and you can get great music for £10 each.
It also sounds great - all this idea that people have about cassette sounding terrible is down to people using shit dual cassette machines and listening to 3 or 4th generation copies on mix tapes in their youth.
That, plus you can't beat the looks of something like this:
