Ok, a little about me. Study Engineering Design at Bristol Uni, but originally from the Midlands.
Fell in love with this audiophile business at the tender age of 12, mainly in the headphone area. Went through plenty of mid-fi headphones, currently sitting pretty with the Beyerdynamic DT770 80Ohm edition. And some FutureSonics M5 IEMs, which serve me so well.
I am a massive fan of soul, hip hop, laid back electro and then some good old fashioned rock. Although I must admit my heart lies in Hip Hop like common, a tribe called quest, and then a lot of instrumental stuff. DJ Shadow, Mf Doom, The Roots. And I am really into minimal house. Massive fan of Burial at the moment.
My speaker love has only blossomed as of late, after acquiring my father's 1980s Technics class A amp and speakers some years ago. I have now purchased Tannoy M2s second hand and a fabulous NAD 317 (comprised of NAD 214 power amp and a preamp).
I use solely my laptop as a source and have closely followed StanleyBs DAC creations over the years.Only now that I am earning some dosh on placement can I afford such luxuries, and since its my birthday on Thursday I would love to find and purchase one for then.

P.S i have found the perfect FS offer for the Beresford Caiman which i have been searching for for months, so I figured its finally time to strike and sign up to this forum. I'm not going to lie, I am pretty keen to get my post count up to 5 so I can put in an order for this beauty!
