I thought I would show you what my latest mains lead was, it is powering a vintage Revox amplifier and uses the old C9 connector which is like an IEC but with 2 contact tangs not 3, anyway I managed to find the only UK stocks of the C9 and fitted a really good mains cable and one of my reference silver plated mains plugs, looks nice I thought?

That does look like a lovely mains lead. How old is the revox amp?

I have just got a really nice Revox B77 Mk2 HS and need to make a new mains lead. Where did you get the C9 connector from?

Wowzers, I was thinking of changing the mains connector in the Revox 780 I've got, but this looks MUCH easier.

How much does this sort of mains cable cost, it would save me filing down the case to fit an IEC type female connector (which I've already done to the cd player!!!).

Cheers, Stu
