Newbie from France

Hi everybody.

I'm a 20-year-old student interested in hi-fi for 3 years. Recently I decided to sell all my digital sources (a CD player and a D/A converter) to buy a brand new tonearm: a Jelco 750D.

Here is my current set-up:

- Rogers LS7 speakers.
- Meridian 551 MKII amp
- Technics SL-110 deck
- Audio Technica AT-440ML/occ, Shure V15-III with Jico SAS

I have about 200 records and 150 CDs.

Bienvenue Bastien! Selling your digital source for a Jelco arm is decidedly unusual behaviour for a student. We need to know more! Very nice gear, wish I had had that as a student :)

My "new" TT with the Jelco 750D arm. I installed the arm and aligned the cartridge. Unfortunatly I don't have the tonearm cable yet, so I don't know how it sounds:)

- first: to make the arm level with the VTA screw, I used a spirit level on the top of the arm:
