    Cheers Geoff. I was thinking of knocking some stands up in the workshop , and then wondered if I could cut some railway sleeper to fit the bottom
    (I haven't fitted the spikes ,is there any need ?? Aren't they for carpets ???)

    Well I'd not use spikes on decent wood flooring.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
