Random bike shots from the north..

This weekend was at the Hossa Wilderness area at eastern Finland with my friend. Packed our bikes and bikepacking gear to car Friday after work and made it to the first public cabin before the midnight. During the next two days did approx. 100kms at really wonderful trails and sceneries..

Long time no pics, so here is bunch before the year changes. First few from the local CX season taken in October..

And then some fat bike ones from November and December. Today its -15deg of C here, so yes, winter is coming..

Winter is still here! Some really nice fat bike rides and also commutes during the holidays and beginning of this new year..

Also visited sport resort Ylläs at Lapland to check the official fat bike routes they have opened there:

Yesterday evening almost three hours of the backyard trails and ice at the frozen sea to check the ship wrecks at nice -17 deg winter weather. Some wind chill at the ice but had some hot cranberry juice with me and stopped for a while at the fireplace where others had stayed short while ago. Unfortunately did not have any sausage or bratwurst with me to have a small nice snack

Do you use flash also or is it just the headlight of the bike?
Your shots really gives a full impression and i get chilly just by looking at theese!

Thanks Mike! No flash in use, so the lighting at the pics just is as it is

Nice! Havent thought of that but of course the LED lights of today are sufficient lighting! The picture of your daughter in the cart, is that digitally tweaked or are you using a tilt-shift lens?
And, keep posting images, they are very inspiring!

That christmas tree pic is taken with my LG mobile and using some sw filter for the tweak.

Hi Mika, are you still using a Zu 103 and which SUT,s are you using?

Yes the other TT has Zu DL-103 grade 2 still in use. I like it very much despite should soon send it to retip. The SUT I have is the Denon version of the Auditorium 23..
