Yeah Jack Black I know. But this is really rather good.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
A complete rip off of Roxy Music's 'Song for Europe' IMHO
As for my favourite music film, other than live gig footage, it would be 'Dig!' a fantastic documentary about the insane world of the Brian Jonestown Massacre and their 'relationship' with the dandy warholes, filmed over 7 years...very very funny
Cheers, Will
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
And this may be an acquired taste, but this DVD is amazing:
Strapping Young Lad - For Those Aboot to Rock
I love the Red Violin it captures some of the Obession and emotion of music
One of my Fav's DVD is Jeff Beck Performing This Week (Blue-ray)
Loves anything from Pain of Salvation to Jeff Buckley to Django to Sarasate to Surinder Sandhu to Shawn Lane to Nick Drake to Rush to Beth Hart to Kate Bush to Rodrigo Y Gabriela to The Hellecasters to Dark Sanctury to Ben Harper to Karicus to Dream Theater to Zero Hour to Al DiMeola to Larry Carlton to Derek Trucks to Govt Mule to?
Humour: One of the few things worth taking seriously
Not sure if this concert will be to most peoples tastes but the quality of music reproduction is superb & likewise the video
Tiesto: Elements Of Life - Copenhagen 11221_large.jpg
Two blu ray discs with 2 hours of music & video on each one Not sure if it happens to be surround sound as yet due to only downmixing to stereo but i should imagine it is.
Looking forward to hearing it doing the business soon & i can't wait
Bests, Mark
