Look superb Graham, good work with the DIY turntable - looks amazing - any chance of some close ups some time? The whole system looks really classy.

Nice but the plinth is somewhat to small and understated.

Now that is one serious turntable plinth, Graham. The R200 seems like a nice match. It looks like you've created a space for another arm - any clues?

The deck is based on a Goldring Lenco L75, I've used a PTP3 (peter top plate) made by a very clever man in Holland - 4mm brushed stainless. The arm boards I had cut by a local workshop out of the same 4mm. I started the project in January this year and got it playing at the end of the summer. The plinth was the labour intensive part, I only power tools I used were a jig saw, palm sander and a drill.

Yes I can fit a 2nd arm - if everything goes to plan will be fitting a 12" Jelco in the next few weeks when I have time. In theory the small arm board should take any 9" and the large any 12"

I'm very pleased with it so far.

    Thanks for the comments.

No, the pre was not a kit, Its Chinese hifi, It's a BL Audio LP1. info here Sounds impressive for the money much more open compared to the standard Junson pre, it also times better. The major down side is only 1 input so have to use a separate switch box.
