Dublin always was a rough town. Not so keen on Lidl myself, think I would have targeted a Waitrose or maybe a Tesco. Not much worth looting in Lidl, except for the chocolate and the booze.

Hilarious! But remember, these aren't 'human beings'; they're sub-human vermin that society has unfortunately allowed to breed.

The thaw has started. 4C this morning and the snow is slowly melting away.

There was a loud gurgle at 1am last night, as the bathroom waste pipes unfroze and the few inches of water stranded in the bath drained away.

If the forecast rain arrives, there'll be no sign of snow by tonight. We could do with a decent downpour to get all that corrosive salt off the roads.

Yep, it stopped snowing and started raining.

The snow on the ground is melting quite rapidly, and Met Eireann is forecasting serious floods.
