    Smile Greetings

    Hi everybody,

Just signed up so I thought i'd better say hello.

I started my hi-fi quest about 17 years ago but to be honest it stopped just as quickly as it started. Thats what happens when you have kids and mortgages and tastes above your income.

Anyway, a couple of months ago I thought I would give it another crack. So into the loft I went and hunted down my old kit which consists of a Marantz cd52, a John Shearne Phase 2 and an even older pair of Wharfedale speakers.
Everything was set up and off we went, the bug had bitten.

I have now upgraded the source to a Densen B400-XS and my next target is speakers, your help may be required here?

My listening tastes, and add in the rest of the family, are diverse. Every genre except for classical is covered and listening levels (the wife) can be extreme.

I think that just about covers me, so hi..

    Spence..

It would be nice to see some photos of your set up. If you want to do that, put them in the Gallery section of the forum.

Nice one, Spence. We have friends in Brede, near Rye (one of our favourite places in the UK).

Hi Spence from another Sussex bloke - I'm currently doing a little missionary work in the North, though.

Welcome to the Art of Sound!
