Just to comfirm the USUAL question I guess...
My 7520 has the Wolfsen Dac chip, the Mutara Regs and the Rubicon/Wilma Caps upgrade.
I'm running my Dac with a 15V Maplin PSU.

I take it there shouldnt be any problem modding my "caimanised" 7520 with James' latest mod?

All looks correct to me. Only difference when I ordered, was I bought one extra 100uF and 220uF cap, and 2 extra 10uF caps as spares if I need them.

The only real reason for me is that Blackgate caps are becoming harder to find since they have gone out of business. Elna caps are generally considered to be of similar quality and still being manufactured, so I went with those instead.

Also, call me OCD , but I'd like as many of the caps to be of the same manufacturer and model, both for aesthetic purposes and consistency.


For those trying out the latest mod... I'd love you hear your opinions on the improvement and whether it is just me or not.

By the way, I like Sanyo Os-Cons a lot too, but they're difficult to find in all the values needed.
