All very nice King. Not been to Florence - I loved Rome - it will be good when they finish it!

I loved DC - did you go to Arlington cemetery? I found it a very morbidly interesting. The White House I thought looked smaller in real life?

    Hi King,

Great pictures (as usual from you), so thanks for sharing

I've been to Florence many times, and the pictures you took brought back memories. However, just one small correction:

    Florence (Florencia ), Italy
'Florence', in Italian, is 'Firenze' - not "Florencia"

A small point, but an important one

    Marco.

    Hi Marco,

Thank you for your correction, my mistake. It should be "Firenze" in Italian and "Florentia" in Latin.

Did you know that the White House is whitewashed regularly ? Apparently it was torched by the redcoats in the War Of Independence, and the soot marks show through after a few years.

At least that's what I heard.....
