Is there any device you could buy to help you cook more fresh food, rather than relying on so many ready meals? You've mentioned about putting on weight, and that's one of the reasons. Maybe make use of a slow cooker? I don't know, but cutting down on all the processed food would defo be good for your health

yip it does slow cook, rather well as it doesnt lose heat like a standard slow cooker and can make persian tahdig crusty rice

got a new kitchen table in too but itll have to wait as unpacking it nearly killed me.. its stailess steel and solid but in bits.. im gonna put my little table into the livingroom. thought it would be of use more for dining

But... Few things contain more calories than high-alcohol content spirits, such as whisky. You should have a glass of red wine for a change!

In all seriousness, switching between red wine and whisky, for a tipple of an evening, would do you the world of good
