Wanted something quick, olive oil in pan, gently fried some onion, put in two cloves garlic, some ginger, large can of drained and rinsed butter beans, 1/2 cup of water, shredded cabbage. small amount of veg stock, cooked for a few min. Some ground black pepper over the top. Was very nice. Sorry, no pic.

Yes, was the leftovers going to the pigs. The leftovers were only collected once per week, I guess that they were not refrigerated!
