Think the current collection is around the 200 mark? Quick audit of last three months shows I’ve sold 20 watches and purchased 7 so numbers are intentionally reducing (but the next three months could be the reverse of that depending on what catches my eye!). Most 'normal' people have just one watch. In my case it is a 50 year old Rolex.
But collectors are a different species: you can only drive one car at a time, so why have several? But car collectors do. The same is for watch collectors.
Also I shouldn't be too hard on collectors - if you saw the amount of audio gear I have, you would wonder why.
