Tell me, did you use a computer program to calculate your volumes, and spacing? If so what program did you use?

Your idea of using water to calculate volume is genius! I personally was thinking of using small plastic pellets. Fill the cabinet with plastic pellets, then dump them into a square box and measure volume. It may not be as exact as the water method, but should be easier to do. No need to waterproof the cabinet.

I’ve read your write up 3 times, and I’ve learned a few things. Your methods are most resourceful and unique, I am inspired to start on my project! I may have to enlist some help, but I can get them built. Thanks again for sharing.

    Thank you!

In fact, I have been practicing "DIY-Audio" for about 10 years, more seriously in the last 2-3 years, with "DIY" - as a whole since I remember myself.

At the beginning, I met a very great specialist audio engineer a who had a lab for measuring speakers, production and marketing of DYA- Audio. He was the man, who kindled the spark in me.
He showed me the best qualities speakers (for my financial capabilities), namely SEAS. The sound of these speakers, also became my sound. All my projects are filled with "SEAS-Excel". I've made measurements of more than 40 speakers and technical differences between them were nil. All the characteristics of the plant matched my measurements. The only downside is the price !

I mean, I have long known necessary volumes of the speakers I use and I do not need a calculation program.
The volumes required for a speakers, are usually very easy to calculate, with the help of a calculator/ there are many in DIY-Audio forums/, if you know their parameters, of course all - is the best !
The program I'm using for filter measurements is this, good - about anyone doing loud speakers:

    P.S.
I have some remarks about your assumption about the measurement material, but the post has become very long, i can go on at a later stage.

WOW These speakers are show stoppers

I’ve seen quite a few really good DIY speakers in my time, but non of them at this level of finish

And I’m lucky enough to know Troels Gravesen, the best speaker builder I’ve ever known/know
His speakers are superb sound and all, and the finish is even greater in “person”, so I imagine yours are crazy

Way too advanced for me, but super inspirational

    Thanks for sharing
