    A friend recently introduced me to a really outstanding space that is near me in Sheffield. A really nice room with excellent acoustics and capable of seating up to 60 - it would be superb for a bake-off, so perhaps we will see a SYBO in the future....

    Yup, I'd be up for it. Sheffield ain't too bad to get to from the Wmids.

    And if you could have it in Arbourthorne (just outside Sheffield) you could call it Arbourthorne & Sheffield Bake Off or ASBO with a name like that you should be able to attract just the right sort of crowd

    ASBO has already occurred when The Audio Standard called there bake off ASBO (Audio Standard Bake Off), down near Reading.

    Yeah, sorry all, it probably should. However, there’s nothing yet to really make it worth creating a thread. Thanks to those who have showed such interest though - it does encourage one .
