I will never forget catching loads of mackerel in the Outer Hebrides and eating them within 30 minutes. Just fried it in a tent. Unbelievable.Oh Sea Bass... one of my favourite fish... I happen to like Mackerel even better but it gets a bad rap for some reason... however you have to catch your own Makkies so they are really fresh.. nice on the bbq...
The sad thing about mackerel is it deteriorates extremely rapidly.
