    Ah.

I've been looking at larger full range drivers myself. Some interesting stuff about.

Geoff, have a look at the Fane 12-250c if you haven’t already. There is also a 15” version.

I’ve also been very impressed recently with a Monacor 10” coax unit, the SP310 CX, used in an OB with a couple of their 15” PA drivers.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

    $22? Is that a typo?

Frequency response looks a bit too good to be true. In a real baffle I'd expect It to look rather different (download 'The Edge' to see what It would most likely look like In your chosen baffle size).

Saying that, got to be worth a try for the money.

    That's certainly damn cheap Martin.

I've had my eye on these from China: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Aucha...734357597.html

Specs look good, useable output down to 30Hz or below by the look of it. Cloth surrounds too.

I'd be a bit wary about the coil material - it's copper coated aluminium wire, and aluminium wire isn't exactly known for its tensile properties.
I certainly dislike CCA network cable, and refuse to touch it. It fails to achieve the Cat5e standard.
