    Once you raise them a bit you should find the imaging and depth amazing.

    For my Cheviots I just made box like stands about 8 inches high from 18mm MDF. It worked fine.

    You want the tweeter in the centre of the drivers at or just below ear height if possible (when you are seated in your listening position obviously ).
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
