What I'm lovin', Granty, is you being able to enjoy a wee dram, pretty much daily now, with seemingly no ill effects (indeed the opposite), when not so long ago you were tea total, and depriving yourself of such enjoyment, because you were told it was bad for you!

Just shows you sometimes how much you can rely on the so-called 'experts'!

Yes, but the feeling not great bit isn't related to the drink, is it? That's my point. So surely you must regret depriving yourself of a wee snifter all that time you were off it?

...and all that time you were unnecessarily depriving yourself of the pleasure!

I've never been addicted to alcohol, or indeed anything else for that matter. I'm just not wired that way. One of the reasons why I've never smoked! That, and the fact that I've always refused to be a sheep/follow the herd and copy everyone else.

So are you saying at one time you had a drink problem, or your health is better now, so an occasional drink isn't an issue?
