Its a ltd ed whisky i think. Not tried or seen it yet but its not cheap. I am not a big lover of ardbeg anyways... Ive also heard it is not as dark as you might imagine. A good bourbon would be better at that price.

Not for me, but we are all different.
Actually tempted to get a 1996 Gordon and MacPhail Caol Ila to replace the bottle I have almost finished.
It's quite possibly my favourite whisky at the moment.

Got a couple of Laphroaigs, but the '96 cask strength Caol Ila is sublime.

Currently drinking "Citra" from Oakham Ales. CAMRA gold champion for 2014. Stunning, hoppy golden ale with a "citrus" finish from the hops (geddit?).

Hi Grant, how are you , hope you keeping well? Just poured myself a glass of Jameson's for academic interest. Not been drinking much whisky recently but have a hankering for some knockando, nice light ethereal whisky. The opposite of laphroaig.

The basic is nice and the top ones very expensive. Not had one for years actuall... Glenlivet make it I think(knockandoo) ... A drop of Irish big J is always nice. Used to drink Jamesons when in Ireland working, along with a Guinness

Never well, but still here lol

Nice to see Islay whisky's featuring so much in the chat - I am originally from Bowmore and am partial to the same though recently in a moment of madness I opened my last Hart Brothers bottling of Port Ellen (at least I still have the limited annual numbered release left).
