Believe it or not, for small change, Beresford do the Caiman DAC and it is surprisingly good. Worth a punt! Add the Dorado power conditioner and a few other mods that Stan does and it fits well above its price tag.

CD12 was only in traditional Marantz finish, CD94mk2 is common in black, but I have never seen one in the traditional Marantz finish, but I believe for the Asian market it was.Originally Posted by farflungstar

I missed out on a champagne 94 due to dithering the German seller had modded it extensively but had no feedback for sales and wanted direct transfer. Needless to say it sold.
