Red is what the Irish call single pot still whiskey and has a mash of both malted and UNMALTED barley, plus it may have some oats in too.
Pot still whiskey is a bit like scotch malt and a little Rye in thanks to the UNMALTED barley.
I’ve got a bit of a thing going on for single pot still at the moment. Particularly loving Green Spot.
