    they were never that great anyway, if you gave me the choice of them or the Dovedales I'd take the Dovedales every time.

    They had a hardcore fan base so just a matter of preference I think. Never heard a pair but wanted to.

    Jon Atkinson from Stereophile used some for years with a Krell KSA50 so they are rated as serious - or were.

    I've never understood hard core fanbases developing around small two-way speakers though. They can only ever be good up to a point. Some weren't even that.

    I'm getting mixed up, Atkinson used SL600 not SL6. Same basic idea but not the same speaker at all.

    The SL600 Si were my main speakers for a couple of years. I quite liked them, but the tweeter lacked analysis in my view. They fetch silly money now, I'd far sooner have my Corellis.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
