Not sure I rate Lundy - seems a bit of a 'hammer thrower' to me. You need more flair and creativity in the middle of the park.

signed Juninho Bacuna yesterday from huddersfield. originally from gronnigan in holland. might add a bit of flair in midfield.



also supposedly signed columbian superkid and striker juan alegria. he will go into b team initially with young mccann(who is doing very well)

not sure you'll be allowed to add anyone.. ties are locked i think with squad you show before first game.

I've been doing a little digging around, and apparently you're allowed one change per round, i.e. one new player in, so if the Juranovic deal goes through, which seems likely, he could feature in the 2nd leg against AZ.

TBH though, regardless of that, I couldn't see Ange dropping Ralston, just like that, as he's been excellent. For me, no way is that going to happen. So if we get through, he'll come into the equation for the group stages.

As I said before though, our defence won't start to look more solid until Jullien returns, which seems likely to be another couple of months yet, or another quality central defender, which I think will happen before the window closes. One way or another though, Starfelt needs support, and to play alongside someone better than him, which will in turn improve his game.

One good thing that's emerged from the Celtic board's 'lackadaisical' approach to signing new players on time for any given new season, including this one, is the likes of Ralston and Welsh being allowed to show what they can do, when given a sustained run in the team, and in that respect Welsh, for such a young lad, has been superb, as of course has Ralston, to the extent now that when we do sign quality replacements for them, they've ably shown that they're capable backups

We'd never have found that out before, had we signed the players we should've done before playing the CL qualifiers, as neither of the above would've been given a sniff. However, both have now enjoyed plenty of game time in crucial matches, so will benefit from that experience enormously

our main issue with europe is too many of our squad is not uk/scottish/club trained. its a rule that aids big teams yet again. but i would like to see more scots in team. alas other clubs wont sell so it does nt happen.

Not seen the game, although was listening on the radio to all the games, the questions were , why was the Celtic player not sent off for a similar challenge, why was the the St Mirren goal disallowed, too be in honest don’t really care too much, St Mirren are of course the great unwashed, for anyone with a Morton connection. always enjoy St Mirren getting pumped.

Regardless though, that's us scored 20 goals, and conceded only 2, in our last 5 games! Now, far be it for me to get overexcited way too soon, as I know we're nowhere near the finished article yet, but that's still pretty impressive form, which warrants a

Nah, old firm games are a totally separate entity, where form goes out the window and anything can happen (and frequently does) over 90 mins, plus as you say, there are some key games to play before then
