Hi John, system and room is looking very nice!

A thought I had, I'm not sure how you have your speakers sited, on spikes or pads, but you might want to have view the video and have a read of this thread. https://theartofsound.net/forum/show...eferrerid=5845

So far the best improvement I have found is with these https://theartofsound.net/forum/show...24#post1233224.

You never know for not a lot of outlay you might get a great improvement. Definitely worth doing if your floor is suspended.

    Cheers

    Adrian

PS Just thought it would be another system change

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

    Very tidy and smart looking.

How are you getting on with the Tannoys?

I did exactly what I said I wouldn't. Sold them on for a profit and bought a set of Cambridge Audio Aeromax 6's which are a revelation for the cost.

Made over £1200 in the process so cannot complain.

System is sounding great and I'm happy with cash in the bank to play with.

Migh build a set of pencils at some point.

    'Cheviots staying there - period'.

Sounds like you did a good trade. How did the Cheviots sound after the RFC refreshed xovers and other work you did?

The Pensil speakers sounds like a fun project to do.
