Scrap that! - I'm listening to the whole of the first piece tried - a 45 minute album.
That probably tells its own story.
    Good stuff.

    Right.
    Sorted.

My new Tower of Power de jour. Maybe even de month or de 6 months.

    Auralic Vega DAC / pre.
Firebottle AIR dual mono hybrid power amp.
And for when I'm feeling even more valvey, Tubehunter el84 monoblocks.

    It don't 'alf sound good!

Nice warm & fuzzy early morning pic taken in low light - flash did all sorts of nasty things.

I dare say I'll be doing some more toob rolling in all the amps that have them.
And I need to optimise my USB connectivity. And cabling.
And I'll see if my Arkless active buffer is appreciated by the Auralic.
But I'll certainly (?) be happy with this for quite a while.

Glad you are liking the AIR Jerry, the Valvo was the original fit.

You may find a smidgen of greater clarity on the low gain setting.

Original fit? Impressive! Many valve gear makers put the cheapest Chinese tat they can find in their otherwise well thought out gear!

    Low gain setting, eh?
    Ok, I've not tried that.

Alan's amps sound best when wearing very brightly coloured trousers.

So always remember to change first, Jerry.
