    Default Moving a washing machine

Hello, in a couple of weeks we're having a new kitchen fitted and having some new flooring as well, I'll need to move the washing machine into the front room, I've seen different types of rollers ,dollys ,sliders that claim to make things easy, does anyone have any experience of something that does work and wont damage the new lino floor when moving it back cheers James

What about sack trucks with pneumatic tyres? It will make light work of the washing machine and shouldn't crush the lino.

Yes a sack truck. Also handy for shifting big speakers in too.

About 10 years ago I bought this sort of item at Lidl

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moving-To...r/293099837954

In fact mine looks pretty well identical except my ones are blue in colour.

Recently I used them to move an extremely heavy 1974 AEG washing machine across a parquet floor. I put newspaper over the floor first, no damage was done.

We don't speak to each other like that here, rein it in please. No need to shout, block caps mean shouting.
