    Default Triangle Antal EZ

Has anybody run a pair of these?
If so, I am wondering what you use as amplification for them?

I know the previous version well, the EX. They work well with valves, if the amp is about 50 watts + and has good driving ability. These need breathing space to work properly.

I used to have a pair of these driven by an Icon Audio 40, and the result was very nice indeed. Plenty of detail and good depth of soundstage. As far as I remember they are a little fussy about placement, and require some testing, but once done, they offered a very nice, even picture of the musical scene.

I now run their little brothers the Comete, and even with a measly 12W they rock my small office.

    Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Current amp in the system is 40W into 8 ohm and and 70W into 4 ohm.
I think it should be sufficient for the levels I listen at in my room.

If someone would buy my Firebottle monos, I can sell my Modulus 86 Amps and upgrade to a 286 or 686.
    That should be sufficient.

I had some Antal MK I Floorstanders last year and thought they were fantastic for the money.

Hope you have a great fun with them when they arrive.

Tried them with several from my Rotel RA01 to my Ming Da to my MBL 7006.

Thought they sounded best on the end of the Crayon amp I had.
