its very busy jeff.. it has a bite in taste and nose.. nuts, fruit, and quite spicy on the tongue. not as sherry front as the 15, but quite a bit busier/ complex whatever you want to call it.. might be some chocolate there too and honey..

i do love the 15 so im comparing re that a bit as its half the price i guess. not tried water so far but your right it needs 10 mins or so to calm down.

actally added a splash of h2o and yes it opens a few more doors, and tames its boisterous nature.. oddy at 25 its still young at heart due to the very strong wood i think

I bought six of these yesterday at Lidl (about £4.50 per bottle, and I will be going back for more), just as a bit of a punt. Wasn't expecting much, but very pleasant surprise - if only I had a decent baguette, some 18month Comte and a few bits of saucisson or rough cut pate, I could dream of camping in France.

Light, dry, fairly smooth with a few rough edges a really "honest" little wine:

LP12, Ittok (black), DV10X5, NVA Phono 2 (twin supply), NVAP50, Art Audio Quintet 15w power amp, NVA LS5 cable, Rega Ela mk1's.
    Sony CDP XB930.

That review makes me want it more, 15 year is not sold in the U.S. 12 or 17 year then on to 21 or 25 but the 25 is the grand finally as 30 year and up is unobtainable for most people.
The 50 year can be ordered but its over 2K. and only 900 bottles where produced world wide. 60 year forget about it. Better chance of being abducted by aliens while on the toilet on the 2nd Tuesday of the week in the last month of a leap year.

I have had, and enjoyed, that - it's on offer at Waitrose at the moment £6.49, a bit of a bargain

After a good ol baseball game it was Redbeast night .
Started with a 15 year and ended in 12 cask strength .
The 15 has a lot more influence of the wood for sure.
I hope to get a bottle of Redbreast 21 before to long.
