    Grant,
A nice read on Glenfarclas ages.

    https://malt-review.com/2019/05/28/g...d-25-year-old/

The 15 is not available here it goes C.S. 12,17,21,25.

Hence my 16 year Anniversary present from my lovely wife Nosheen .
She got me a bottle of Glenfarclas 21 year and a 12 year old bottle of Dominican rum.
Grant, between you and my friend Brad ,I have been inspired to enjoy a good whiskey again.
I only drink 50ml. on Friday and Saturday nights so I am going with the good stuff.
I will have a nice rum to at some point but my favorite is whiskey.

The guys review of the 15yr old reminded me not to listen to majority of online reviews. I would say it's nothing like he says... Unless he got an odd bottle

    Sadly here in the U.S. I will never know what a 15 year is,but I can try a 17 year .
I'm sure it will be different though.
It was your comments in the 15 that got me interested in the G.F. brand. This is the first review I have seen that was not happy with the 15 year.
Mabey one day they will do a special run here. I'll send an email to G.F. and ask if they can do that for Christmas !

A new one to me from Jeff's side of pond.
Few Bourbon from Evanton, which was the last place to lift prohibition apparently.

Toffee, and spices.. Long warm finish. Spicy and fairly dry this.

I like it... I like it a lot.

Ever like something when you where young ,taste it later and say to your self thats piss what was I thinking.
I used to drink JB rare blended scotch when I was a teen into my 20's then moved on.
I wanted to put something in my 2 liter cask to keep it from drying out so I added 1.75 liter bottle of JB and gave it a taste.
Peat & piss, No self respecting Scotsman would drink this, it has to be export only.
This is to Scotch what Thunderbird is to wine. I'll leave it in the barrel permanently.

On the bright side I uncorked the GlenFarclas 21 and I am amazed how good it is, it's a real fruit basket of flavors that just linger on and on.
