That's mad. Are there 100s of folk dying everyday then in Scotland - what are the official stats? As far as I was aware, the UK daily death toll was around the 30-odd mark, so hardly a case of 'too many folk dying'...

    Here you go: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/

34 in the last 24 hours. so hardly serious... It's just that the case numbers are high and hospitalisations are obviously increasing exponentially, but that's just to be expected. So we simply have to ride out this wave and once every bugger's had their second jab, all will be fine!

I understand why folks like you are wary, with various health issues, but too many normal healthy folk are acting like panic merchants, IMO, and it's doing my tits in, as all I want to do is forget all about this pish, ASAP, ditch the mask cack, and get life back to normal!!!. And the panic merchants/eternal worriers, for me, are holding that back!

Quite simply, they're allowing themselves unnecessarily to be ruled and imprisoned by fear.

Lol - she's just read that and giggling away! She *loves* going to car showrooms, so I hope you take her, although as you've intimated, she tends to attract a little too much attention from sales assistants

Maybe she could bring Robyn and Becca with her, just for a wee day out?

Yes that could help seal the deal, lol. I'll be taking her to look at new Jeeps soon, so you can just *imagine* how excited she is, but the entertainment factor for me will be watching how she, erm, deals with the sales guys...

Honestly, it's hilarious watching her in action, and she *won't* stop until she gets WHAT she WANTS!
