Default Looking for Phono/RCA Plug Recommendations

    Hi all

I will soon be building a new full set of Interconnects and will be using the Van Damme Shotgun Cable throughout and that has a 6mm outer diameter

My usual supplier of the type of plug I used in the past has ceased trading so I am looking for recomendations for a good quality plug to use

Anyone got any recomendations for a plug that will fit a 6mm OD cable

Been on the BayofEvil and found a few that look ok, any thoughts on these

I use these and they're very good for the money . The silver part can be removed for thicker cables . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6x-Colour...1905714448?ssP

Look smart and can you fit them tightly without solder? That's a big plus for me

Yes they are solderless and use grub screws

These are my and many others on here go to choice

Tried these as replacements on many a bought cable, always found an improvement, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Line...0AAOSwNFFa5n8z

Obviously a copy of the KLE plugs at a fraction of the price, there are also pure silver ones if you are feeling a bit spendy https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4N-pure-S...gAAOSwXeJXc2Xv

Lack of a metal body( alleged reduction in eddy currents) and a hollow centre pin seems to be the way forward for rca plugs, great for digital coax cables too.

Can you cite research results that support this?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
