Wood burner? No, it's not that cold... Ours has been retired for the winter since the beginning of May.
As long as it's 14-15C indoors, we don't need any heating on, which indeed has been the case, although we give the central heating a blast first thing in the morning, just to take a slight chill out the air, then the house is fine for the rest of the day.
Anyway, after nearly 3 days of continually heavy rain (there's been lots of flooding in Wrexham, but we live at the top of a hill), it's much drier this morning, still raining but no where near as heavy, and the sky is brighter, so I think better weather is on the way, but not expecting much in that respect until Sunday!
