I believe that referring to somebody in a wheelchair as "in a wheelchair" is frowned upon, they are wheelchair users, apparently the latter doesn't define them.

I don't know how accurate this is but it certainly rings true in many respects

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it is not a shit newspaper, and I fully agree with you regarding The Sun. But this 'Supporting fascism' thing seems very much like the sixth-form twaddle you get (or used to get, maybe it has changed) on the PFM politics threads.
Very good point. It is infantile to suggest the Daily Mail still supports fascism. It was the paper that brought Steven Lawrence's killers to justice ffs.

Also agree about PFM. I sacked it off it was so full of sixth form silliness.

    Gender: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender

or to put it more simply (and to distinguish it from 'sex'):

"Either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The term is also used more broadly to denote a range of identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female.
