Every time I have had wine from Lidl ,its been disappointing. I will have to try and find some

The Poles seem to have taken over Lidl's in my area I suppose its natural being from that part of the world. Always found them helpful in the shop. Finished the last bottle so will be trying out the Fortezza next.

Interesting that you've always been disappointed with Lidl wines. My experience is quite the opposite, certainly when it comes to these 'specials' (for Italian week, etc) that they get in occasionally, which for me always offer superb 'slurp-per-pound' value!
Whether or not you'll enjoy the Colli will be down to two things: your individual palate and whether or not Chianti is your 'bag'. It's certainly superb value, as you could easily pay double that for it in a specialist wine merchants.
It's never going to be the most robust or powerful tasting wine in the world, but the Riservas have a structure and finesse about them (as well as the inherent fruitiness associated with the Sangiovese grape) that sets them apart from the bog-standard varieties - and ABOVE ALL, Chianti is a foodie wine, so to be appreciated at its best, it should be enjoyed with, say, a fantastic plate of tagliatelle al ragu, wild mushroom risotto, or just with some crusty bread and a big dollop of Dolcelatte!
I'm also down your way quite often, popping into Tanners, which is where I buy my 'special wines' for laying down, and unusual stuff that's difficult to find elsewhere.
