Sometimes adding family members to your insurance can be beneficial. A few years ago my brother put me on his insurance as a named driver, as I have a better driving record than him. Reduced his premiums considerably.
A bit annoying really. he has all the fun of driving like a right wank stain, while enjoying the benefits of my more considerate driving style
