Been tempted to buy in kilo bag o beans as I go through a 200g bag quickly.
Do the beans ‘go off’ if stored for too long?
Ive just been emptying the 200g bag into the hopper on the grinder, couldnt do that with a big one.

I wonder about bean freshness sometimes.
I have had freshly roasted beans I do not like, and have left them in a open topped coffee tin out of disrespect for their flavour numerous times, sometimes for a few months. Then I try them and they seemed to have completely changed, transformed even, for the better.
Complex things coffee beans.

Can help some beans. Many can lose their fresh citrus flavour. Think it depends on roasting.
You can reseal bags and keep the valve working or use inert gas into a sealed jar.. being heavier it pushes the air out and its mostly the reaction to air that causes the problem
